2025 budget

The Budget 2025

As you will be aware, the Labour government, and specifically Chancellor Rachel Reeves, presented the second Budget of this parliamentary term on Wednesday 26 November 2025.

As expected from the extensive pre-Budget commentary and recent conference announcements, a number of tax increases have been introduced as the Chancellor seeks to meet her self-imposed borrowing targets. Several of these measures will have implications for small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), as well as for our private clients.

Our full review of the Autumn Budget is now available. You can download the PDF summary below. In this review, we explain the changes announced by the Chancellor and outline the potential impact for you, along with planning opportunities to help mitigate these effects.

If you have any comments or questions after reading the summary, please do not hesitate to get in touch with Tom or Frank.
