Harling & Kirk Accountants Achieves Xero Silver Partner Status
Harling & Kirk Accountants (HK), is pleased to announce that the firm has achieved Silver Partner status with Xero, recognising the firm’s continued commitment to cloud accounting and supporting clients with modern, efficient financial systems.
The Silver Partner designation reflects the work HK has undertaken in helping clients transition from traditional bookkeeping methods and legacy software to a more streamlined cloud-based approach. By supporting clients moving from spreadsheets and older systems onto Xero, the firm can maintain cleaner records, improve collaboration, and provide more proactive financial guidance throughout the year.
Laura Wakefield, Account Manager at Xero, commented:
“Silver Partner status isn’t just a logo for HK, it accurately reflects how they work today and the direction Frank and Tom are taking the firm in over the next few years”.
During recent discussions with the Xero team, HK outlined the next phase of its development, focusing on strengthening processes and continuing to deliver meaningful insight to its client base.
As part of this approach, the firm plans to:
- Continue recommending Xero as the preferred cloud accounting platform for suitable new clients.
- Gradually migrate remaining clients using legacy systems or spreadsheets when they reach the right stage for cloud software.
- Make greater use of Xero’s practice tools, including Xero Tax and Syft Analytics, to support deeper financial insight and more structured year-end discussions.
- Utilise the benefits available to Xero Silver Partners, including marketing resources and the Silver Partner badge, to support the firm’s wider marketing strategy.
Frank Harling, Partner at Harling & Kirk, said:
“Achieving Xero Silver Partner status reflects the direction we’ve been taking as a firm. Our focus has always been on helping clients stay organised, understand their numbers and make better business decisions, not just preparing accounts after the year end.
Using cloud platforms like Xero allows us to work more proactively with clients throughout the year, giving them clearer insight into their finances and more timely advice when they need it.”
As HK continues to develop its advisory services, the firm remains committed to helping business owners make informed decisions and build stronger, more sustainable businesses through better financial visibility.
